THE PROJECT
It is our belief that all Mamas' babies deserve to walk safely in their own communities regardless of age, race, gender or orientation. All Mamas’ Babies deserve to live long happy lives. We seek to address the situations of police brutality, racial profiling by “public servants” and private citizens and all the human created perils that incite the constant state of fear in which all mothers’ of color across this country abide. It is our intent to help bring an end to the systemic genocide that is now being faced by an entire generation of African American youth, mitigate the loss of all youth of color, and to reinforce in the minds of all Americans the value of lives of color.
THE HARD TRUTH
1 Black Man Is Killed Every 28 Hours by Police or Vigilantes in the US
Young African Americans are killed by cops 4.5 times more often than people of other races and ages
Unarmed Black People of all ages and gender are killed disproportionately by police
We are calling for and will work toward a Federal task force that will monitor state and local police departments across the country for at least 5 years to ensure they abide by and uphold the high ideals of their oath to protect and serve all their citizens.
We call for Continued quarterly audits for additional 5 years to ensure the police departments maintain a commitment to their reforms.
We will work to incite and support national legislation that inflicts and enforces strict penalty on all police departments and personnel that target and brutalize any of their citizens.
We will support all legislation, public and private programs and grass root efforts that work to ensure saftey from police brutality for all youth of color, That advocate for adequate and equal opportunity to the full benefits of the educational systems, Access to whole healthy foods and all things that support the happy and long life that all our children deserve.
